Synopsis

A father rides with his son through the forest. The sick child thinks he sees the Erlking, who charms and frightens him at the same time. Based on Goethe’s poem [Erlkonig] and the music of Schubert/Liszt.

  • Georgios Schwitzgebel
  • Born in Switzerland in 1944. After studying at the Geneva School of Fine Arts, he worked for several years in advertising before founding the GDS Studio in 1970. Since then, he has produced and directed 18 short animated films, focusing especially on animation created by painting on glass.
