Synopsis

Michel Legrand composed some of the most iconic scores in cinema history: The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, The Thomas Crown Affair, Yentl, to name just a few. A legendary figure who won 3 Oscars and 5 Grammys, he collaborated with renowned French and American filmmakers as well as celebrated jazz musicians and singers. This documentary traces the surreal journey of a multi-faceted and elusive artist whose life and career defy easy categorization.
