Synopsis

Founded in 1860 as a military post, Vladivostok is Russia’s gateway to Asia in the Far East. The entire city becomes a stunning stage where music is performed and the voice of the city resonates. This film features 350 musicians from diverse backgrounds—including a rapper, an orchestra, a brass band, percussion ensembles, and choirs.

  • Marios Joannou Elia
  • Marios Joannou Elia studied at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He has composed over 80 works. He created Sound of Vladivostok, in which the entire city becomes a stage. Following the project’s success, he was invited to produce a similar concept in Kyoto, Japan.
