Synopsis

Since President Duterte’s rise to power in 2016, over 20,000 people have been killed in his brutal war on drugs. Manila-born artists Eyedress, Owfuck, BP Valenzuela, Teenage Granny, and Jeona Zoleta share their musical inspiration, their unique methods of production, their thoughts on the city they call home, and their fears of possible death.

  • Angela Stevenson
  • Born in Hong Kong and based in London, Angela Stevenson is a Filipino-British photographer and filmmaker. She traveled to 25 countries while working with Boiler Room’s production team, recording live events for three years, and later became an in-house director and producer. She has directed music videos, short documentaries, and live sessions for Boiler Room Channel.
