Synopsis

Is this Gugak (Korean traditional music) or Flamenco? A flamenco guitarist, a flamenco dancer, a Korean traditional singer and a gypsy violinist have moved to Jeju Island for different reasons. They meet in a new neighborhood and start new music Gugak-flamenco crossover under the band name, “Soriquete.” Their new sound and life challenges delivers free and independent paradigm of life to us trapped in a monolithic system.   • 1978년 서울에서 태어나 2006년 한양대학교 문화인류학과를 졸업했다. 2008년부터 2010년까지 영화, 출판 번역작가로 일하다가 2010년 제주도로 이주했다. 이후 프리랜서 라디오 프로듀서를 거쳐 2016년 만든 매깨라 스튜디오의 대표로 활동하고 있다.
