Synopsis

My dream to play trumpet in orchestra hasn’t worked out. A call from my ex saying she’s getting married makes my winter day colder. I realize I have an ad in my pocket looking for a teacher for a school pipe band in Gangwon-do. The band with lousy instruments will be disbanded if they don’t win in the upcoming contest. The kids say they just love music.

  • Born in 1966. Director Ryu Jang-ha graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts in 1996. He started as a screenwriter and assistant director on the 2001 film . He made his directorial debut in 2004 with the film , where he also wrote the screenplay. Later, in 2008, he directed and wrote the film . Recently, in 2017, he directed and wrote the screenplay for the film . His documentary is his first feature-length documentary directorial work.
