Synopsis

Jihee is mentally challenged and has low self-esteem. She feels comfortable when she is invisible among people. Her encounter with a guitar changes her life. She begins to open herself to the world. However, she doesn’t have her own song, and she wants to write a song to tell her story. The journey is not easy, but she finds her way.

  • A documentary director, photographer, and musician, Hyun Jin-sik is active in various fields. His second directorial work, "My Song is Far Away," follows his first film, "Wind Coffee Road" (2016). He has mainly made documentaries about artists' dreams and is currently working on a new documentary about the Gwangju Democratic Movement.
