Synopsis

It is 1961 and Rudolf Nureyev is a member of the Kirov Ballet Company, travelling for the first time outside the Soviet Union. Parisian life delights Nureyev and he is eager to consume all the culture, art and music the dazzling city has to offer. But the KGB officers who watch his every move become increasingly suspicious of his behavior. When they finally confront Nureyev with a shocking demand, he is forced to make a heart-breaking decision, one that may change the course of his life forever. This film will be released as VOD in Korea later this year.

  • 랄프 파인즈는 1962년 영국 서폴크에서 태어난 세계적인 배우이다. 연극 무대를 거쳐 1992년 <폭풍의 언덕>에서 히스클리프 역을 맡으며 영화 데뷔를 했고, <쉰들러 리스트>, <잉글리쉬 페이션트>, <콘스탄트 가드너>, <더 리더: 책 읽어주는 남자>, 그리고 <그랜드 부다페스트 호텔> 등의 화제작에 출연했다. 그는 2011년 자신이 주연을 맡은 <코리올라누스: 세기의 라이벌>로 감독 데뷔를 했고, 2013년 <인비저블 우먼>을 거쳐 세 번째 연출작인 <화이트 크로우>를 만들었다.​
