Synopsis

Nathan is a young prodigy of seventeen, about to have a piano lesson. Emma, his teacher, is 8 years older than him. To prepare for the end of year audition, the two pianists play together “The Sorcerer Apprentice.” While they play, the two start to fall for each other; they seduce each other through their music. Beyond notes and music, what is really happening in this practice room?

  • 남프랑스가 고향인 형제 감독 폴 게랭과 프랑수아 게랭은 각각 6살과 8살 때 첫 습작을 만들 정도로 어린 시절부터 영화 작업을 시작했다. 단편 <두 피아니스트>를 만든 이후 <반영>을 최근에 만들었고, 그들의 장편영화 시나리오는 2018년 클리막스 그랑프리에서 ‘특별 언급’을 받았다. ​
