Synopsis

Nathan is a young prodigy of seventeen, about to have a piano lesson. Emma, his teacher, is 8 years older than him. To prepare for the end of year audition, the two pianists play together “The Sorcerer Apprentice.” While they play, the two start to fall for each other; they seduce each other through their music. Beyond notes and music, what is really happening in this practice room?

  • Brothers Paul and François Guerin, from southern France, started their filmmaking journey at a young age, making their first films at the ages of 6 and 8. After creating the short film Two Pianists, they recently made Reflections, and their feature film script received a “Special Mention” at the 2018 Climax Grand Prix.
