Synopsis

A pianist is searching for humanity through performing music in a world controlled by A.I. However, his only audience is a deaf and mute cyborg girl, raised by machines and with no real experience with humans. Can they identify each other’s feelings through the signals of performing music?

  • Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Yang Yichien made his debut in 2012 with Chacha for Twins, a film based on his personal story. The film won Best Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Film at the Taipei Film Festival, and was nominated for five categories at the Golden Horse Film Awards.
