Synopsis

Four different songs are thematically set on the coast of the North Sea. In the film Flensburg, a man waits for a woman every day at the pier, where he cannot reach her. The Washing Machine portrays swimmers in the open sea, full of anxiety about the matter of survival. Drunken City is more political. Wilhelmshaven serves as a starting point and a journey of wanderlust.

  • Klaus Heifus was born in 1961 in Diesen am Toitoberger Wald, Germany, and now lives in Frensburg. After graduating from the Berlin University of the Arts, he debuted in 2006 with the short film Gallows #16, and his seven short films have been invited to several film festivals.
