Synopsis

France, summer 1985. On the brink of death, 75-year-old Madeleine receives an unexpected visit from her son. While Madeleine refuses to reveal the secret of his birth, Charles' determination to uncover the truth brings back long-buried memories of the German occupation – some of which are revealed through song.

  • Matthieu Wisenoski began his career as a cinematographer in the mid-1990s. Expanding his scope to writing and directing since 2000, he has made four short films and is currently preparing documentaries and feature films.
