Synopsis

Marco is a student at a music school, where his ambition is to play the lead role in The Phantom of the Opera. However, his singing teacher does not think he is ready for the challenge, even though she acknowledges his vocal abilities. What does Marco lack to succeed? How can he persuade his mentor?

  • Saverio Settembre studied piano at the Parma Conservatory and has performed as a conductor and pianist in many concerts. With a strong interest in film music, he has composed music for several films, including Filippo Cavalka’s short film The Path of the Atheist. Alter Ego is his first musical film.
