Synopsis

Master geomungo player PARK So-yeon (age 47) lives in Penguin Apartment. Ever since she was in high school, she’s dreamed of performing with her friends Sun Joon-yo, a gayageum master, and Hong Hyunsoo, a pansori singer and intangible cultural asset. When her friend Seong Hwajung, a film music director based in New York, visits Korea, they look forward to performing together as a group. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 brings the entire world to a standstill. Days pass, and their performance is postponed indefinitely. Will they ever be able to perform together?
