Synopsis

Look at Me: XXXTentacion tells the story of how a Florida teenager, Jase Onfroy, became one of the world's most streamed artists, XXXTentacion. Director Sabaa Polayan paints an intimate portrait of the artist through candid remarks and unseen footage from family, friends, and lovers. We discover the indelible mark he left on the music world, including his violent behavior, raw talent, and mental anguish before his death at the age of 20.

Hailed as a demonic talent, Florida hip-hop artist XXXTentacion became a star in music history when he shockingly died at the age of 20. Through his honest admissions of his mental illness and courageous lyrics, Tentacion comforted people and amassed a legion of teenage fans. But he also led a life marred by violence and obsession. Director Sabbah Polayan refuses to stand in a position of mechanical neutrality and asks the audience to confront not only his brilliance, but also his ugliest side. (조명진)
