Synopsis

Lennon Gates, a nondescript teenager, wants to join the indie music scene in Columbus, Ohio. She discovers her musical ambitions by interviewing the musicians she admires, but when she quickly befriends the confident and talented Bobby Keaton, she creates a whole new identity. Bobby encourages her to find her voice, and Lennon soon finds herself on a path of obsession.

Program Note

This is the feature debut of directors Ori Segev and Noah Dixon from Columbus, Ohio, and it is an interesting music movie set in the indie music scene of Columbus, where the directors were born and raised. Lennon Gates, who wants to be a part of the indie music scene, decides to start a podcast and starts meeting musicians, recording music and interviewing them. He becomes friends with Bobby Keaton, a real-life musician, and becomes obsessed with him. The film is a thriller that combines a deep love for indie music and a deep understanding of music and art with interesting storytelling. (Jo Ji Hoon)
