Synopsis

Kassel-based drummer and performance artist Steffen Modrow takes his audience on a journey into subcultures. Since the 90s, he has developed a language that penetrates the rest of the culture behind consumerism, so his art combines drum sounds with common objects such as tape and beer cans, including mass-produced children's game machines. These aural rituals are carefully orchestrated.
