Synopsis

After being exiled to Black Mountain Island at the end of the world by the New Yuebak Pestilence, Zheng Weiqian is fascinated by the sea creatures and decides to write a book. He seeks help from Chang-dae, a young fisherman who knows the sea well, but is rejected. When he discovers that Chang-dae has a passion for writing, he suggests that instead of teaching him how to write, he should use his knowledge to write about sea creatures. Despite their differences, the two gradually become teachers and friends.
