Synopsis

Coming Home tells the story of the Freedom Dabka Group, a group of Palestinian-American dancers living in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. They use dabka music as a medium to connect their community with their homeland. The film was shot on 16mm film, utilizing old photographs from the Palestine Museum, under the unique constraints of 2020 and 2021.
