Synopsis

In the span of a single day, Sylvia experiences a series of humiliating events: she is fired from her job, just a few years away from retirement age, stopped by a traffic cop on patrol, and stripped of her church choir part. During a rehearsal of "Ave Maria," Sylvia decides to stage a silent protest.
