Synopsis

Geumjeonggul in Goyang City is a vertical shaft that was built and abandoned for gold mining during the Japanese occupation. During the Korean War, in October 1950, the police massacred hundreds of Goyang residents in this mine without any legal process and buried them in the depths of the mine in layers. 71 years later, the survivors are still suffering and struggling with the trauma.
