Synopsis

Biographical film about Bergen, a singer who represented arabesque culture and music in Turkey in the 1980s. She was killed by the violent rage of her divorced husband. The film follows her from her childhood to her death, and the arabesque colorfulness and sensuality of her music in the midst of her suffering overwhelms the viewer.
