Synopsis

After ten years, the Kang San-ae Band is reuniting. The concert is titled *Reunion +1*. Despite being a 32-year veteran of Korean music, Kang San-ae is nervous like a rookie. As the curtain rises, he joins his old friends to begin one more year together.

Program Note

Singer Kang San-ae decides to reunite with the “Kang San-ae Band” after a decade. The concert begins with a simple text message he sent to his bandmates: keyboardist Ko Kyung-chun, bassist Min Jae-hyun, drummer Lee Ki-tae, and guitarist Choi Man-seon. The message read, “I miss you. Let’s play together again!” Perhaps due to the unfamiliarity and tension of playing together after such a long time, the seasoned rocker of over 30 years visibly shows his nerves—and at times even looks dissatisfied. Nevertheless, for fans who have long loved Kang San-ae as an artist, it’s hard not to be captivated by the live performances of his self-written songs, performed by the original band members.
