Synopsis

Dongju, a freelance composer, is notified that his music may be replaced by AI. As he drowns his sorrows in alcohol, a mysterious woman approaches him.

Program Note

The protagonist, a freelance composer, faces the possibility that the music he carefully crafted might be replaced by an AI-generated track. However, a chance encounter with someone who recognizes his talent helps him continue his work. Even amid the setting where fears of AI taking over human jobs are becoming a reality, the film chooses to focus on the creative potential that humans still uniquely possess. The passion for one’s work becomes a bridge to a budding romance, suggesting that—like creativity—love is also a domain that AI may never be able to replicate. (Park Kkot)
