Synopsis

As we grow older, it becomes harder to see childhood friends because of our busy daily lives. Yet, we still care for, respect, and love one another. The protagonist spends their days traveling and walking with a friend, recalling memories while walking down music-filled streets.

Program Note

This work is an animation, a song, and a music video made while thinking of friends who have become harder to see after entering adulthood. Set to the lyrics, "Let’s stay lukewarm for a long time, my friend," soothing visuals unfold—going on a trip with a frog friend, pitching a tent and cooking meals, and sitting on a bench with a cat friend in despair to share in each other's pain. This five-minute story hits an emotional chord. The scene where long-lost friends reunite and watch fireworks together under the phrase “Today I am lukewarm festival” makes the viewer want to reach out to an old friend. (Heo Nam-woong)
