Performing Artists
-
- Lee Han-chul
- Lee Han-chul first stepped into the music scene by winning the grand prize at the 1994 MBC College Music Festival. For a while, he faded from recognition, but in 1999, he re-emerged as the leader of Bulldog Mansion in the Hongdae club scene, receiving enthusiastic support from critics and the public. Since early this year, he has formed a four-member band and has been delivering emotionally driven pop numbers in dynamic live performances.
-
- Black Hole
- Black Hole has pursued a single path in heavy metal for over 20 years, constantly evolving. Their album, which blends heavy metal with Korean emotional sensibilities, is considered a quintessential example of mature and refined Black Hole-style heavy metal.
-
- Sixteen
- Sixteen’s biggest appeal lies in their use of sophisticated rhythms and harmonies—hallmarks of the new trend among indie rock bands—alongside well-structured melodic lines. While their sound feels familiar, it’s hard to imitate, thanks to lyrics that warm up what could otherwise feel like a cool sophistication. Their new album was produced by Lee Han-chul himself.
-
- Casker
- As pioneers of Korea’s electronic music scene, Casker creates highly polished music blending acoustic instruments with electronic elements. Their sound spans electronica, lounge, jazz, bossa nova, and techno, weaving relaxed rhythms and dreamy melodies into their storytelling.
-
- Clazziquai
- Clazziquai radiates the essence of fusion. Combining classical music, jazz, and groovy sounds, their work is a remarkable mix that includes traditional electronica, funky house, and the global influences of world music, delivering a unique hybrid sound.
