When a worker ant gets lost from the horde, it will keep walking until it finds a nest or dies.

Program Note

The unique dance film Where Do Ants Sleep at Night likens the daily routines of office workers to those of ants. As another ordinary workday begins, one employee becomes captivated by the thought that there might be another life outside the office. The moment one deviates from a life measured with exact precision is always risky, but it also holds unexpected possibilities. The film delivers a powerful spectacle that feels like watching a dance drama, using choreography and sound reminiscent of a music video to explore the metaphor suggested by its title.
