The 20th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (hereinafter JIMFF, Festival Director Lee Dong-june) reveiled the official poster and slogan.

The official slogan "superascéndo" is a Latin word which means “to transcend”. This slogan reflects JIMFF's determination to move forward into a new future in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

As well, official poster visually illustrated the meaning of “transcend”. The top of the poster depicts the sea, while the bottom shows the desert, illustrating the extremes of two contrasting worlds. The image of rising against gravity and freely falling as if the world is upside down is used symbolically to convey JIMFF's determination to transcend everything and move forward.

This poster was created by the acclaimed artist Genius Shin, who has achieved fame through numerous exhibitions. He stated, “It is an honor to be selected as the official poster artist for the 20th anniversary,” and added that he “spent considerable time pondering how to incorporate the slogan ‘transcend’ into the poster”.

The 20th JIMFF will take place in Jecheon from September 5th to 10th. In this year, there will be a lot of special events such as 'JIMFF special choice', and 'One summer night'.
