Synopsis

Christmas is a magical day when children receive presents from the cheerful Santa Claus. But what if something happened to Santa? That would be a nightmare for kids everywhere. Pororo to the Cookie Castle is an animated film where Pororo and his friends try to enjoy a normal Christmas while all sorts of unpredictable things unfold. Witches, cookies, candy, and chocolate come to life just as children might imagine, and they challenge Pororo and his friends, causing a grand commotion. At the center of all this chaos is none other than Santa Claus himself, and what happens to him is quite the spectacle. Pororo, already beloved through the popular EBS series Pororo, the Little Penguin, is a well-known character among children. With a production budget of 1.3 billion won, this adventure set in a mysterious, beautiful, and fantastical world is sure to sweep away the summer heat.

Director

Kim Hyun-ho

Born in 1971. After graduating from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Industry, Kim worked at several computer graphics companies before joining OCON in 1999. He has worked on numerous video projects including Dr. Nazzalnan and Samsung promotional videos. He also participated in the production of Pororo, the Little Penguin, which aired on EBS.
