Synopsis

The Waikiki Brothers are a nightclub band traveling from one city to another. Their leader, a voice actor, returns to his hometown of Su-an and reunites with his high school girlfriend, while his bandmates face their own romantic troubles. Although they dream of continuing their music careers into adulthood, the harsh reality forces them to reflect on their future. Lim’s Waikiki Brothers struck a chord with older audiences when it was first released. As we age, we often reminisce about our youth with a sense of loss and become disheartened by life's dead ends. In that way, the members of the Waikiki Brothers serve as reflections of ourselves.
