Synopsis

The stories of Nora, a widow living with her child, and her old lover Ismael run parallel to each other until suddenly their paths cross and the story takes on a completely different turn. Promising French director Desplechin combines French humor with lavish images to produce < a rich and strange film.> Catherine Deneuve appears in a supporting role to add sincerity to the film.

아르노 데플레셍

1960년 루베에서 태어난 아르노 데스플레셍은 프랑스 국립영화 학교인 이덱을 졸업한 후 에릭 로샹과 니코 빠빠타키스의 영화들에서 카메라맨으로 활동을 시작했다. 1991년 그의 첫 번째 단편인 <죽음의 삶>을 만들었고, 장편 데뷔작인 <파수꾼>(1992)으로 주목을 받기 시작 했다.
