Synopsis

The film was inspired by Bach s unaccompanied cello suite no.4, with themes on generosity and communication that meets through various stories. The director Atom Agoyan creates a heart warming drama full of humor based on the mood and emotions from Bach’s music.

1960년 이집트 카이로 출생. 미국인 부모 사이에서 태어나 캐나다 서부에서 자랐다. 첫 장편 < Next of Kin>(1984)과 같은 그의 초기작들은 캐나다 영화계의 큰 주목을 받았으며, 칸영화제 수상작 <엑조티카>(1994)로 세계적 명성을 획득하였다. 최근 < Where the True Lies>(2005)를 발표하며 꾸준한 작품 활동을 보여주고 있다.
