Synopsis

A host of TV show, Tony Wilson goes into the music recording business after inspired by a concert where only 42 audiences are attending. Tony succeeds in making up a popular band and opening Hacienda club that leads Rave and Acid. This film shows the enormous affection of England s music business and Manchester and the music stirring up Hacienda club captures obviously young audiences attention.

마이클 윈터바텀

1961년 영국 블랙번 출생. 잉마르 베르히만에 대한 두 편의 다큐멘터리로 감독 데뷔하였다. 수많은 TV 시리즈물과 장편영화를 연출하였으며, <웰컴 투 사라예보>(1997), <광기>(1998) 등으로 국제적 호평과 지지를 얻은 바 있다. <인디스월드>(2002)로 2003년 베를린영화제 금곰상을 수상하였다.
