Synopsis

Korea’s representative rock singer Kang San-ae’s parents are originally from North Korea. He reflected this background in his debut song titled “Ra Gu Yo,” and continues to explore its meaning through encounters with various local rock musicians in countries such as Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and China, all under the theme of “Love for Humanity.” These meetings culminate in an emotional reunion concert in Seoul.

Ken Masayuki

Born in Tokyo in 1958, Ken Masayuki is a second-generation Korean-Japanese whose parents are originally from Jeju Island. He graduated from the Second Department of Literature at Waseda University and joined the TV production company Telecom Japan in 1984. He has worked as a writer and director on numerous TV documentaries, including Phantom Tokyo Olympics (1988), Taiwan Manyoshu (1995), and Home Away From Home – A Special Nursing Home for Koreans in Japan (1996).
