Synopsis

Hitler Cantata tells a forgotten chapter in the history of the Third Reich: the invisible bond between Hitler and women. Ursula assists the famous composer Broch, who has been commissioned to write a cantata for Hitler’s 50th birthday. Meanwhile, their friends find love and loyalty being challenged. When Ursula is faced with questions about her family heritage, her life is in danger…

Jutta Brückner

Jutta Brückner studied political science, philosophy, and history in Berlin, Paris, and Munich. She later worked at Bavarian TV studios and collaborated on screenplays with director Volker Schlöndorff. Since 1975, she has been directing films and is currently a professor of film at the Berlin University of the Arts.
