  • The Jecheon Film Music Award is presented by the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival starting in 2006 to honor figures who have made significant contributions to Korean film music. Unlike traditional film music awards, this award acknowledges not only composers and producers but also performers and sound engineers who have helped develop the Korean film music industry in various ways.
    In this inaugural year, the award is posthumously presented to Music Director Shin Byung-ha, who passed away in 2005.
