Synopsis

From the American folk singer Woody Guthrie to boxer Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter, over the years, Dylan has written songs that capture his fascination with the stories and lives of real people—past or present. Bob Dylan’s Legends focuses on four of these people and tells the true story of each of those individuals, with Dylan’s song as its musical theme.

Jane Price

Jane Price began her career as a broadcast journalist with BBC Wales and has worked with the BBC for over a decade. With funding from the BBC, she directed her first short film set in Chile, which was screened at several international film festivals. She is currently involved in the production of the BBC’s arts series Arena, and has also directed the Dennis Potter season for the program. Bob Dylan’s Legends is her most recent work.
