Synopsis

Francisco, a poor man living in a mountain village in Brazil, dedicates himself to making his two sons singers, and his sons show a talent for music that pleases Francisco. But when the second son dies in an untimely car accident, the eldest son, Mirósma, is devastated and stops singing, but resumes his solo career under the name Jeje di Camargo. But when his solo career fails to gain traction, his father's dream is finally realized when his younger brother Luciano joins him in a duet that becomes a huge hit. The movie is based on the true story of the brothers Jeje di Camargo and Luciano, a duet that is currently a sensation in Brazil, and was the country's top box office hit last year. The dedication of the father, Francisco, to raise his sons to become singers despite the difficulty of living, is reminiscent of our own parents, and the singing of the brothers, who are real singers, as well as the outstanding singing skills of the young actors, add to the emotional impact of the movie and the music. No. 1 at the Brazilian box office in 2005 and Brazil's official entry for the 2006 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

프랑스 파리의 루이 뤼미에르 고등국립 영화학교(Ecole Louis Lumiere Vaugirard)에서 촬영을 전공한 뒤 여러 편의 극영화와 다큐멘터리의 촬영감독을 역임하고 브라질에서 다수의 TV 프로그램과 뮤직비디오, 광고를 연출하며 호평을 받았다. <프란시스코의 두 아들>은 그의 장편 데뷔작이다.
