Synopsis

A story of two love affairs. A father’s love for his five sons. And one son’s love for his father, a love so strong it compels him to live a lie. That son is Zac Beaulieu, born on Christmas Day, 1960, different from all his brothers, but desperate to fit in. During the next 20 years, life takes Zac on a surprising and unexpected journey that ultimately leads him to accept his true nature and, even more importantly, leads his father to love him for who he really is.

1963년 생. 1992년 캐나다 각종 영화제에서 수상한 단편 <스테레오타입>(1992)으로 영화 작업을 시작한 이래 다수의 장, 단편 작업을 하고 있다. 1995년 첫 장편영화 <블랙리스트>가 캐나다의 대표적인 영화상인 제니 어워드(Prix Genie) 9개 부문에 후보에 올랐으며 98년 단편 <마법의 말들>이 선댄스 영화제 공식 경쟁부문에 초청된 바 있다. <크레이지>는 그의 세 번째 장편영화.
