Synopsis

Arif is a typical Turkish bloke selling carpets to tourists in Western Turkey. He is also obsessed with creating fake pictures of UFO’s. One day he is suddenly kidnapped by real aliens from the planet G.O.R.A. He doesn’t take it seriously, but once he gets bored, he wants to escape. A hilarious adventure ensues as Arif tries to outwit the evil commander-in-chief of the planet of G.O.R.A.

Director

Ömer Faruk Sorak

Born in 1964. After studying journalism at Ankara University in Turkey, Sorak joined the Turkish national broadcaster where he worked as a cameraman for various documentaries and TV dramas. In 1997, he founded his own production company and began producing commercials, music videos, documentaries, and films. He worked as a visual director for Mustafa Altıoklar’s film Elevator and achieved his first commercial success co-directing Vizontele with director Yılmaz Erdoğan.
