Synopsis

A story of a disparate bunch of Czech vacationers thrown together on a one-week package bus holiday to an Adriatic seaside resort. The strange ensemble of characters, led by a plain-faced, witty woman, consist of a minor pop star, a gay couple, a pair of teenage sexpots, a fetching tour guide and cupholder-obsessed two bus drivers. While this may seem like the perfect formula for a holiday in hell, slapstick humor and heartwarming moments abound in this classic Czech comedy.

1972년 생. 1996년 프라하 공연예술아카데미의 영화학교(FAMU)에 입학, 재학시절 연출한 작품 <스위츠 Sweets>(1999)는 이듬해 FAMU 영화제에서 최우수학생 작품상을 수상하고 칸 영화제 단편 부문에서 상영된 바 있다. 2005년 연출한 TV 시리즈 < Redakce>로 체코 ELSA상 최우수 감독상, 최우수 드라마상 후보에 오르기도 했다.
