Synopsis

Michel is 40-something and not doing much with his life, so he decides to take guitar lessons. He falls for his music teacher’s roommate who flirts with him slightly and even has the same name as the Serge Gainsbourg chanson he’s struggling to learn – ‘Laetitia’. This finely woven, laconic film, about what it’s like to be just that little bit in love, was invited to numerous film festivals around the globe including Berlin and Clermont-Ferrand, and garnered several awards.

Martin Lit

Born in 1978 in Paris, Martin Lit studied philosophy at the University of Aix-en-Provence and cinematography at the film school FEMIS. He works both as a director and a cinematographer.
