Synopsis

Hyun-soo was once an idol star with millions of teenage girl fans. Now in his mid-thirties, he is still popular as the DJ of the number one hit radio show and lives a peaceful life with nothing to complain about—until the biggest scandal of his life comes knocking on his door out of the blue. Jung-nam, who has been pretending to be a devoted listener of his show by sending in daily stories, suddenly shows up and claims that Hyun-soo is her father. And that's not all—she even has a little son! Jung-nam starts stalking Hyun-soo at his home and workplace, and his perfectly ordered life begins to fall apart. To make things worse, rumors swirl that he’s involved in a scandal with Jung-nam. Hyun-soo does everything he can to protect his celebrity image, but the hurdles keep piling up, and he can’t seem to stop Jung-nam and her son from completely turning his life upside down. Everything comes down to one last live radio broadcast—his final chance to prove whether he has what it takes to be a true star.

  • Kang Hyeong-cheol graduated from the Department of Film and Visual Arts at Yong In University. His feature debut, Scandal Makers (2008), won him the Best New Director awards at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, the Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, and the Asian New Talent Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival. His second feature film, Sunny (2011), was a massive hit, attracting over 7 million viewers in the first half of the year in Korea.
