Synopsis

Yu-kyung sympathizes with her brother-in-law Ji-ho, who was neglected by her selfish sister Yu-hwa. One day, Yu-hwa hits a strange man, Min-jun, with her car. Yu-kyung sees the similarities between Min-jun and Ji-ho, who committed suicide. Min-jun ends up staying at their place, and Yu-kyung is troubled by her sister’s interest in him. Yu-hwa, a dancer, has a comeback performance but collapses when she hears the truth about her husband’s death from Yu-kyung.

    • Born on November 10, 1954, in Daejeon. After graduating from Seoul Arts College's Department of Film, he entered the film industry as an assistant director under director Im Kwon-taek. He made his directorial debut with "Winter Wanderer" (1986), and followed with "Two Women’s House" (1987), "A Long Time After" (1989), "Portrait of a Young Man" (1990), and "Youth" (2000). His melodramas, infused with autobiographical feelings, are praised for their high level of cinematic expression. He passed away on May 25, 2010.
