Synopsis

In a medieval monastery Brother Benoît, a rotund, congenial, but blundering monk has just received orders from his superior to clean the church’s immense organs. Accompanied by his friend Françoise, he tries his best. Despite his good intentions, however, he triggers one catastrophe after another and the more he attempts to set things right, the worse the situation becomes.

  • 1963년 제네바 출생의 미셸 뒤푸르는 제네바예술대학에서 그래픽과 애니메이션을 공부했다. 1987년부터 스위스의 프랑스어 TV방송채널에서 그래픽 디자이너로 일해왔다. 작품으로는 <굿모닝 코일즈>(1984), <인형을 위한 상자는 없다>(1990) 등 단편 애니메이션 영화들이 있다.
