Synopsis

This is Toru Fujioka, your average salaried employee. After undergoing a surgery at the hospital, he overhears his doctor saying that he has cancer. Fujioka looks back on his life and recalls the best memories of his life, those of when he belonged to a band in high school. Back in those youthful days, he was always straightforward and overflowing with energy and vitality, unlike now. What will he do with the rest of his life?

  • Born in 1949. Graduated from the Department of Korean Literature at Seishin Women's University. She joined Kyoto TV in 1985 and won an Art Festival Award for the 30th Anniversary drama "Two Mothers" (1994) at Tokai TV. She made her directorial debut with "Jutem - Her Sex Scandal" (2008), and "Rock Us, Daddy!" is her second work.
