Synopsis

Troubadours traces Carole King, James Taylor and the singer/songwriter scene during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The film also interweaves the intriguing story of the world famous Troubadour club that cemented their musical legacy. The Troub became the place for songwriters including Carole King, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Kris Kristofferson and Eagles to inspire (and be inspired), to strut, compete, carouse, and to love. This documentary shows what happened when Carole King and James Taylor reunited for the concert in 2007 held as an event for the 50th anniversary of the club.
