Synopsis

On the physical checkup day, on her way to class Min-ah picks up a red-covered notebook in the water fountain. It’s the exchange diary by Hyo-shin and Shi-eun, known as a couple. Hyo-shin, who was in the same class with Min-ah last year, is being shunned by other students because of her precocious speech and a rumor about her and the Korean teacher. Reading it in the sickroom, Min-ah overhears Hyo-shin and Shi-eun’s conversation. On their same birthday, which is also their first anniversary, they have a reunion a month after a quarrel on the school roof. Page by page, Min-ah feels spellbound and involved in their sad and secret relationship. In the afternoon, the school gets turned upside down with Hyo-shin’s suicide, and Min-ah, possessed by her, follows her traces.
