Synopsis

After a 4-year break Sigur Rós have returned with their new album [Valtari] and an interesting visual experiment. The band asked 14 directors, photographers and visual artists including Hedwig’s John Cameron Mitchell, to listen to their new album and to make whatever they felt like making to go with the music. They also ran a public competition to be part of this project and among 800-plus entrants 2 videos were selected for the film. Valtari Film Experiment will be a touching reminder for those who were at their concert in May and a wonderful chance to catch up if you have missed it.​
